Tobermory 25 Year Old 1996 (Cask 277). A single malt from Tobermory Distillery, distilled 1996 and aged in first fill Clavados Hogshead casks for 25 years before bottling by Dram Mor. Only 167 bottles produced, Cask #277. This is an exquisite malt, which is entwined with salted toffee and floral honey, finishing with Sweet yellow fruit, sugar barley and white pepper.

Tasting Notes:

NOSE:

Fresh type yellow apple and yellow pear atoms, a good layer of vanilla, baking spice and a touch of toasted oak.

PALATE:

Complex, with cooked apple, ripe apricot, rum-soaked sultanas, vanilla, honey & walnut.

FINISH:

Sweet yellow fruit, sugar barley, white pepper. slowly developing the light, yet complex array of flavours locked away within this bottle. Lingering sophistication.
